I got 2 pieces in this show which runs through Sept 21st in the center of Plymouth, MA at the annual Festival. The Path To The Beach, 12x48 in oil, won Honorable Mention. I'm thrilled.

What's Up In My Studio? by Kelley Carey MacDonald

I love to paint and am grateful every day that I get to explore this wonderful life in this way. My family is tremendously supportive, and I have a fantastic circle of friends who paint, and other wonderful friends who support me and allow me to visit even though I probably have streaks of magenta in my hair or cadmium yellow smeared across my face.
This is my personal journey, and this, I think, is where I find peace for my soul. Thanks for looking in... Kelley

I truly believe that we have reached the point where technology has become one with our society, and I am fairly confident when I say that we have passed the point of no return in our relationship with technology.
I don't mean this in a bad way, of course! Societal concerns aside... I just hope that as the price of memory decreases, the possibility of transferring our brains onto a digital medium becomes a true reality. It's a fantasy that I dream about almost every day.
