This was done last week with Mary Sheehan Winn and Ros Farbush in Hull, MA. I stood with my BACK to the ocean and painted the area with the arcade shops (all closed up still). It has a 'Ros' feel to it, I think.

What's Up In My Studio? by Kelley Carey MacDonald
This is a secondary blog to my Daily Painting Blog, where I'll put up paintings that I'm working on, or paintings that are hanging in various shows, or just interesting things that I've seen or done. I welcome comments anytime, on the page or via email (kcareymac@hotmail.com).
I love to paint and am grateful every day that I get to explore this wonderful life in this way. My family is tremendously supportive, and I have a fantastic circle of friends who paint, and other wonderful friends who support me and allow me to visit even though I probably have streaks of magenta in my hair or cadmium yellow smeared across my face.
This is my personal journey, and this, I think, is where I find peace for my soul. Thanks for looking in... Kelley

Kells, it came out good. As far as channeling Ros, you saw mine didn't you. It's the Edward Hopper on an acid flashback effect! Let's go back there. That'll test our abilities to handle crowds ;)
