WIP Update

These three are almost done! I'm very excited - they're huge (for me), I think they're 30x36 - although I can't measure right now because I'm home. The middle one needs the most work - the pink sky has got to be a much warmer pink. I also think I'll adjust the size of the island to be shorter, and bring the second (larger) island down a little too.

I love the colors in these. That is a large size for you to paint, how was it going from a daily painting size to these larger format sizes?

It was CRAZY, Paula! But what's weird is, once I started - I like the bigger size better, and now - it's like I can't get them big enough!

Your landscapes and sunset paintings are really strong. The bottom one looks like Nova Scotia.

No... Mary, I think I finished the Nova Scotia one yesterday, though, so I'll post it. These are all Rhode Island!

Of the three landscapes posted in this post, my favorite are the top and bottom one.

I love the top painting's color scheme (warm yellows and browns). Feels very soft and warm and visually soothing to look at.

The bottom painting is the most detailed with all of the different clouds mingled together.

I'd like to see how you finish these off!
